Biography
Wilfrid Clerton is on the start line for his fourth Route du Rhum. A marine surveyor in La Rochelle for seven years, he also teaches sailing at the maritime and aquaculture school in the city, and ran a boat rental company for twelve years. He has sailed since the age of eight, on the Laser, 420, Soling, Star (with the French team), J80, and Class 40 in IRC (Trophée de l'Atlantique), and has twelve transatlantic crossings to his name with Kriter VIII.
