Biography
A trained engineer, Tom Laperche is one of the most brilliant sailors of his generation, combining sporting excellence, technical expertise and a taste for innovation. Crowned French Elite Solo Offshore Racing champion in 2021, he won the Solitaire du Figaro the following year. From 2021 he joined the MerConcept team as François Gabart's co-skipper on the trimaran SVR-Lazartigue, which he took over at the helm in 2024. He then established himself among the elite of the Ultim class and in 2025 scored victories in the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Transat Café L'Or.
