Sailing is a sport of adaptation in which we must constantly listen to the external elements: the wind, the sea, the boat. I try to apply this philosophy in my relationship with my partners.
Biography
Normandy-born and nomadic, Sophie Faguet is a sailor passionate about the sea as well as competitive sailing. Together with Nicolas Jossier, another Normandy sailor, she leads the Défi Solidaire for the benefit of Ellye and L’Arche. Behind this project is a collective of two associations and more than thirty companies from the Grand Ouest, brought together by shared values: gender parity, self-improvement and solidarity. The boat serves as their common platform for promoting this adventure, which is both sporting and charitable. This first participation is a personal challenge, backed by an enthusiastic group. Sophie cannot wait to discover this race.
