Biography

It was on the Étang de Thau, in Sète, that Nicolas Rouger first took up sailing. He then discovered the open sea and adventure through deliveries in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, followed by passages between Corsica, the mainland and the Balearic Islands. He also takes part in the major Mediterranean regattas: SNIM, Giraglia, Rolex Cup. Between 2006 and 2009, he committed to the Mini 6.50 circuit, all the way to the Mini Transat.

He now has a new IMOCA with an exceptional track record and has set a clear course: the Route du Rhum 2026, then the Vendée Globe 2028. Both projects rest on the same conviction: always believe in your dreams and never give up.
