Biography
Milan Koláček is a Czech solo offshore sailor and skipper of Inland Roots Ocean Soul. After starting out on Czech waters, he worked in Ireland and then at Cookson Boats in New Zealand, where he learned to build high-tech racing yachts. He then raced in the Mini 6.50, Figaro, Class40 and IMOCA classes. The Route du Rhum 2026 will be his first participation in this legendary race, and the first Czech entry ever in an offshore race of this scale. He is proud to represent the Czech Republic. 🌊🇨🇿
