Supporting the prevention of school dropout means giving children confidence and a mastery of the basics. My wish: to make the Coup de Pouce association known so it can support more children, they deserve it!

Biography

Manuel Cousin stands for a down-to-earth, combative kind of sailing: sincere, approachable and committed, he combines determination with simplicity. He first learned to sail in an Optimist at Saint-Briac, near Saint-Malo, and has twice finished the Vendée Globe. His project, both sporting and charitable, looks outward to the ocean and to other people. On 1 November 2026 he will line up for his third Route du Rhum, a race he values for the intensity it offers when sailed solo. Driven by the desire to improve, he pushes his limits while sharing the emotion of the open sea.
