Biography
Coming from Olympic sailing, Sidney Gavignet sailed alongside Éric Tabarly before committing to offshore racing, up to his win in Rhum Mono for the "Cafés joyeux" in the 2018 Route du Rhum.
This victory goes hand in hand with a change in the way he experiences sailing and adventure. He founded Cap Horn Consulting, trained in coaching and equine coaching, and supports people seeking inner balance.
In 2026, he lines up again for the Rhum aboard the Cigare Rouge, to champion the message "keep your clarity", that of a work for which he is the patron.
