Biography
Originally from Lamballe, Gilles Lamiré is a seasoned sailor. For some fifteen years he sailed the seas, mostly in the Antilles, gaining a wealth of experience aboard very varied boats, from luxury yachts to multihulls. It was in 2006 that he turned fully to offshore racing.
In 2026, Gilles Lamiré will line up for his sixth Route du Rhum on the ORMA Groupe GCA, in the Vintage Multi category. This class showcases emblematic boats that have left their mark on the world of offshore racing and notably marks the great return of the ORMAs.
