Gilles COLUBI

Gilles Colubi describes himself as an enlightened amateur. He discovered sailing at 15 and began racing at 20. He has taken part in several Tour de France à la voile, Figaro and Imoca campaigns, always as an amateur but alongside professional sailors. In 2022, after being treated for lymphoma, he lived his dream with a first Route du Rhum in the Rhum Mono category and finished 5th. He sets off again this year on the same boat, a Pogo 12.50, the only 40-footer in the Vintage Mono category and by far the smallest of all the boats.
