Biography
From Finistère, Éric Péron learned his craft on an Olympic dinghy before turning to offshore racing. After the Figaro circuit and then the big trimarans, he went on to race transatlantics and round-the-world races, and in 2024 he completed the very first edition of the Arkea Ultim Challenge-Brest, the first solo round-the-world race in Ultim class. Both a competitor and a business owner, he brings together within French Touch Oceans Club a group of partner companies, an unusual pooled racing team in this world. He now heads for Pointe-à-Pitre for his second Route du Rhum.
