Biography
Damien Seguin is a powerful symbol: he was the first disabled skipper to complete a Vendée Globe. His career as a regatta sailor and offshore racer has made him a leading figure in his sport.
A two-time Paralympic champion, five-time world champion and two-time Vendée Globe finisher, he sets off this year on his fifth Route du Rhum, aboard a legendary boat: the former Fujicolor2 of Mike Birch and Loick Peyron. This ORMA trimaran has won everything except the Route du Rhum, and that is precisely the goal Damien has set himself on this transatlantic crossing.
