Biography
Christophe Rateau, 65, is among the few amateurs entered in the 2026 Route du Rhum. A public health physician, he runs institutions in the health and social protection sector. Passionate about the sea since childhood, he has started many offshore races.
Beyond the sporting challenge, he has been racing for 10 years under the colors of Gustave Roussy, the leading French and European cancer center, in order to support research, but also better care, support for patients and, of course, prevention.
