Biography
At 24, Basile Bourgnon has wasted no time in his offshore racing career. His first Transat Jacques Vabre in Class40, in 2019 with Emmanuel Le Roch, when he was only 17, definitively ignited the competitor's flame within him. The son of Laurent Bourgnon, two-time winner of the Route du Rhum, he honed his skills and made a name for himself in the Mini 6.50 and the Figaro 3 before taking the helm of the Ocean Fifty Edenred 5, launched in 2025. Passionate about multihulls and speed, he learns fast and is now one of the Class's unmissable players.
