Biography
Axel Tréhin searched in vain for a "school to become an offshore racer". At 19, he therefore pooled his first shipyard wages, 2000 euros, a considerable sum, to buy a Mini 6.50 wreck that took him 3 years to rebuild. He tasted competition, and that was it: there was no going back... Since then, the projects have multiplied, his boats have grown, and so has he as a sailor and competitor, but he keeps this dual role of sailor-builder, which lets him know his boats inside out. This Class40 was born after a fire in which he lost everything except the essential: his path.
