"We like to do things seriously without taking ourselves seriously!"
Biography
Sailors are forever dreaming of the open sea, yet not a day goes by without them talking about the stretch of water where they took their first tacks. For Arnaud Boissières, it is the famous Arcachon basin. The skipper of the IMOCA APRIL Marine, the former 2016 Hugo Boss, is funny, friendly, sociable and open, and wins people over with his availability: he is a reminder that one can take sailing seriously, but without pretension. Quickly adopted by the offshore racing world and nicknamed "Cali", a half-tender, half-amused nod, he is lining up a fifth participation in the Route du Rhum in 2026.
